For the last year all I've had time to think about is "THE HOUSE"! But it is now done - well, at least as done as any old house ever is. The house is my home and was built in 1900. When I bought it in 2000 my plan was to use it as a rental for 5 years or so and then to do a remodel. WELLLLL, the rental part went as planned but the remodel ended up to be more of a restore than I expected. And to make matters worse I was living in the midst of all it. Yish was it dirty and messy and noisy! But now it is done except for a few tweaks ... my furniture is in ... it is relatively clean ... and I love it. To see pictures of before, during and after click on the Remodel button to the left. Getting the pictures out on the web is a work-in-progress so be patient as I add more and more galleries of pictures. Currently all of the before and after pictures for the inside are there and most of the "mess" pictures but I am just starting the outside pictures.

Now that the house is under control I'm back working on this site. I have migrated to a new hosting company and so far am very happy with them. The first thing that I am working on is the "Remodel" page followed by the "Jemez", "Glendas", "Photos", and "Sheridan" pages. Changes scheduled include getting all the remodel pictures in photo galleries followed by creating photo galleries of the genealogy pictures I have so that friends and relatives can see them and "order" copies if they want. Then I am going to completely revamp the "Glendas" page.

Since none of the above will really be done one-at-a-time you should see progress in all areas slowly but surely. Also on the schedule is to rework the "Jemez" maps. Thanks to Suzanne Star I have a more current set of maps and will get them up on the web as soon as possible but in the meantime the old ones will be available shortly by clicking on the "Jemez" button. Yes, I know there are some major bugs on the pages.

I'm excited about the house being done so that now I can get back to other interests like genealogy, old photo restoration and lots of other interests. I have had a number of visitors now that the house is accepting guests and have really enjoyed all of them. Come see me if you can!
